Explore different techniques for coming up with and refining ideas, as well as cognitive biases that can get in the way of the innovation​ process.

Companies simply cannot survive if they are unwilling to innovate. In this course, Innovation in the Workplace, you will learn to incorporate innovation into the daily workflow of companies and organizations of all sizes and across all industries. First, you will explore what exactly innovation is and why it’s important to make it a part of your business strategy. Next, you will look at different techniques for coming up with and refining innovative ideas, including using empathy to think about how customers may feel about your products and services. Finally, you will look at some of the cognitive biases that can impede the innovation process. When you’re finished with this course, you will have the skills and knowledge of innovation needed to continuously develop market-leading products and services for your organization.
