Dartmouth Health Continuing Education for Professionals Home, Traumatic Brain Injury From Intimate Partner Violence: Researching Prevention to Recovery, 11/5/2019 8:00:00 AM - 11/5/2022 9:00:00 AM, This presentation will define traumatic brain injuries (TBI) from intimate partner violence (IPV), describe barriers to receiving healthcare after TBI from IPV, and analyze and discuss how social conditions can lead to increased disease burden in women living with TBI from IPV.

Learning Outcome(s)
At the conclusion of this learning activity, participants will be able to discuss at least three evidence-based interventions that will support the clinical needs of victims of intimate partner violence who have received a traumatic brain injury.
