Overview
Sport is the most precious commodity we can hand on to the next generation A crucial part of any sports organization’s management operation will be its organization and administration of the sporting events that are part of its sphere of operation. Sport, like so many other areas of life and business, changes radically and very quickly in this modern age. The contents of this course are meant to be of assistance to the students and practitioners of the business of sports administration and management. The course consists of five units namely Introduction to Management and Organizational Structure in unit one, Facilities and Equipments in unit two, Staff and their Qualities in unit three; Intramural, Extramural and Budget in unit four and lastly, Leadership and Public Relation in unit fives. The course will constantly recognize and emphasize on the fundamental background of management and sports administration which can be benefitted to administration and management practices within sports.
