Overview
Performance management is an ongoing process between the organization and its employees. The objective of performance management is to maintain and improve employee performance in line with the organizational objectives. The process consists of developing goals and setting expectations, continually monitoring performance, developing the capacity to perform, providing ongoing feedback, follow-up and rewarding good performance. Performance management is an important HR function and is directly linked with efficient management of human resources and organizational effectiveness.
