Overview
This course gives the students about awareness of the different sources of information available to academics, policymakers and the public on crime. This also understands the contested nature of what is (and is not) considered to be ‘crime’ andknowledge of the contrasting schools of explanations that have emerged in relation to explaining criminal behaviour and crime causation
Syllabus
Professor S M A Qadri is former Dean and Head, Faculty of Law, University of Kashmir. He specializes in Criminal Laws. Prof. Qadri has written extensively on themes in criminal law in India and on the State of Jammu and Kashmir.
