Presenters discuss the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on physicians and the ways in which they had to pivot into leadership roles to create new care units and manage department needs. Other topics discussed include diversity, inequality for women and clinicians in underrepresented groups, emotional intelligence and the attributes needed to be an effective leader.
