Creative Market – Great Listings That Sell!

In this class, Creative Market: Great Listings that Sell class, you will be guided step-by-step through the process of creating a Creative Market listing. I will be using my chic floral design brush set designed in a previous course. This course will arm you with all the knowledge necessary for selling your art assets on the Creative Market site, selling really anything, to add to your income streams. I teach you how and where to find good reference for writing your copy, and guide you step-by-step in making the listing. This creating a listing skillset is an ideal competency if you are a designer on a crusade to add to your monthly income streams. Many nuggets of wisdom about the biz, in general, will be peppered throughout.                                                                                                                                                  

This Creative Market: Great Listings that Sell class is suitable for designers with some knowledge of Adobe Illustrator who want to learn additional techniques, though basic skills are reinforced and each step is explained thoroughly.

Overview

Intro:

This video is the intro to Creative Market - Great Listings That Sell. It is a group of lessons in a class where you will learn all the ins-and-outs of Creative Market.

Lesson 1:

This lesson, Getting Started, is about the planning and research that goes into your product - where to look and what to aim for!

Lesson 2:

In this lesson we research visuals for our Creative Market listing and begin to plan our listing's content.

Lesson 3

In this lesson I show you my planning process for the screenshots. We will look at plenty of reference and you will learn where to find lots of advice!

Lesson 4

In this lesson, you will observe as I demonstrate my process of creating the screenshots from scratch using assets I have already created. These were created in Part 1 of this course, Chic Brushes, but the facts and data are relevant to any sort of art commodity.

Lesson 5

In this lesson, I substantiate al of the information by adding examples and details to the screenshots.

Lesson 6

This lesson will have you contemplating descriptive reference as we write dynamic copy.

Lesson 7:

This video is about exporting the assets and the artboards. We discuss organizational structures and what the creative market requirements are for package contents.

Lesson 8:

In this video we complete the creation of the listing by adding all the information necessary, like tags and other important data.
