About our Presenter
Dr. Sebastian Barr is a licensed psychologist currently based in Western Massachusetts. He received his PhD in Counseling Psychology and completed advanced training in health service psychology and psychotherapy at Cambridge Health Alliance under the auspices of Harvard Medical School. His scholarship centers on the experiences, mental health, and mental healthcare needs of members of the trans community, with a particular recent focus on non-affirmation, traumatic stress, and gender dysphoria. Additionally, he specializes in the provision of psychotherapy and assessment with trans and nonbinary individuals.

Following this presentation, participants will be able to discuss and address the psychosocial needs of trans and non-binary people by building skills to aid in an affirming, effective, and research-based approach to care.
