Content types are often misunderstood and underutilized. In this course, we will learn what a content type actually is and how to make the best use of one. We will explore using existing content types and create new ones for various team sites.
Content types are often misunderstood and underutilized. In this course, we will learn what a content type actually is and why we would want to use one. We will explore using existing site content types that are part of SharePoint right out of the box. Then, we will create a list content type and a document content type. We will also create and modify new site columns as well as work with existing site columns. We learn how to replace the default document template in a document library and build a content type around it.
