Fusion 360: Getting Started with CAM
Offered By: Pluralsight
Course Description
Overview
Fusion 360 is an amazingly versatile 3d CAD platform. In this course, you will learn all of the basics of 2.5 and 3 axis milling using Fusion 360's incredible Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM) functionality. Software required: Autodesk's Fusion 360.
This course, Fusion 360: Getting Started with CAM, will take users from the very basics of 2.5 and 3 axis parts, through the process of a CAM setup, creating toolpaths, and generating the G-code. You will create a basic part while learning about design intent as well as design for manufacture (DFM). Finally, you will then take your CAD part and use the CAM workspace to start generating the required output. By the end of this course, you will understand the basics of design, tool path strategies, and output requirements to get the job done. Software required: Autodesk's Fusion 360.
