This lecture will examine the psychological issues commonly associated with a sport injury and rehabilitation in late adolescents and young adults. Discussion will include interventions to educate athletes and their social support system about what to expect and how to mitigate potential psychosocial issues. We will also examine the various strategies to support successful rehabilitation and return to sport.
