Stanford Center for Continuing Medical Education, Pain Management: Interventions in Pain Medicine, 10/5/2020 12:00:00 AM - 10/5/2023 12:00:00 AM, An overview of interdisciplinary pain management education designed to give physicians the competence in recognizing and understanding the unique needs of pain patients as well as further their ability to refer and treat patient in an interdisciplinary, multimodal manner. This CME activity is designed to increase physician knowledge and competence in recognizing and understanding the unique needs of pain patients as well as further their ability to refer and treat patients in an interdisciplinary, multimodal manner. This session reviews the interventions pain physicians offer; their indications; a brief description of how they are done; and their potential risks.
