Course Description
Overview
This course aims to teach students the fundamentals of histology and histopathology. By the end of the course, students will be able to understand the differences between macro and micro levels, identify cells and structures, and comprehend primary and secondary changes in tissues. They will also learn about tissue preparation techniques such as fixation and embedding, as well as gain insight into the functioning of a histopathology department. The course is designed for individuals interested in biology, medicine, or healthcare who want to develop a foundational understanding of histology.
