Course Description
Overview
The course teaches students how to represent and manipulate data in computers. By the end of the course, learners will be able to represent various types of data such as numbers, fractions, images, text, and sound in digital devices. They will also learn binary arithmetic, logic operations, and input/output considerations. The teaching method includes theoretical explanations, practical examples using kitchen scales, digital cameras, and PCs, as well as exercises on binary arithmetic and logic operations.
