Nurses make up the largest cohort of health care clinicians and have long been recognized as the most trusted profession, spending more time in direct patient care than all of the allied health professions. The role of the nurse advocate is broad and extends beyond the clinical setting to more diverse settings such as the legislative arena. Join us as we discuss how nurses can share their unique voice in making changes in health care policy that ultimately lead to improvements at the point of care.
