Dartmouth Health Continuing Education for Professionals Home, Nursing Grand Rounds “ Education and Practice Partnerships in Nursing Education: The Capstone Experience in the RNBS Program at CSC, 3/1/2021 8:00:00 AM - 3/1/2024 9:00:00 AM, Senior year is an exciting time for all Colby-Sawyer nursing students, including registered nurses who are enrolled in an RNBS program. During the capstone experience, RNBS students work side-by-side with faculty, nurse mentors, and other interprofessional colleagues to address topics that are significant to nursing “ and to health care in general. Join us as we learn from five of Colby-Sawyer College™s RNBS students as they present their capstone projects on safe administration of the rabies vaccine, education for newly diagnosed diabetic patients, use of Mepilex to prevent pressure injuries, prevention of diaper dermatitis in neonates, and prevention of catheter-associated urinary tract infections.

At the conclusion of the learning activity, participants will be able to discuss the unique experiences of undergraduate RNBS students in a practice-based clinical setting.
