Overview
Dartmouth Health Continuing Education for Professionals Home, Nursing Grand Rounds The Other Side of the Call Bell: Hospital Acquired C. diff and a Journey of Survival, 9/16/2019 8:00:00 AM - 9/16/2022 9:00:00 AM, This presentation will focus on that of the patient experience, paired with the risks and prevention of hospital acquired infection; sepsis from the perspective of the patient; and understanding work and interventions that can be made to positively affect the outcome of our patients and their experience.

At the conclusion of this learning activity, participants will be able to discuss the lived experience of one nurse who developed a serious hospital acquired infection and as a result of that experience, her efforts to bridge the gap between nursing practice and patient perception of care.
