Course Description
Overview
- Module 1: This module defines psychological safety, describes why it’s important, and provides guidance on how to recognize it on teams.
By the end of this module, you should be able to:
- Explain what psychological safety is.
- Articulate why psychological safety is important for effective teams and successful organizations.
- Understand how psychological safety helps with change management, especially AI transformation.
- Identify key indicators that psychological safety is present.

- Module 2: This module provides three practical lessons managers can take to cultivate psychological safety on their teams. It also teaches managers how to use Copilot to help them practice these lessons.
By the end of this module, you should be able to:
- Define what it means to check your reactivity and two strategies for practicing it.
- Understand what it means to listen without agenda and identify two methods to practice it.
- Explain why it is important for managers to model vulnerability first.
- Understand how to use Microsoft Copilot to help you practice the three lessons.

- Module 3: This module provides three advanced lessons that managers can practice to strengthen psychological safety on their teams as well as guidance for using Microsoft 365 Copilot to practice these lessons.
By the end of this module, you should be able to:
- Articulate why it’s important to protect your headspace and identify at least three strategies for practicing it.
- Understand how to look for the gift of difference and why it’s important for psychological safety.
- Explain why it’s important to facilitate meaningful connection and identify at least two strategies for practicing it.
- Understand how to use Microsoft 365 Copilot to help practice the three lessons.
