Course Description

Overview

This course is conceived as a minimum preparation necessary for the first engineering courses and other studies in which mathematics is taught. We will work on it:

  • The concept of a set and its operations
  • Elementary mathematical notation
  • The different types of numbers: natural, integers, rational, irrational and real
  • Finally you will learn the necessary basic concepts about complex numbers
