Overview

Dartmouth Health Continuing Education for Professionals Home, Innovation in Nursing: Transforming Care One Nurse at a Time!, 5/14/2021 8:00:00 AM - 5/14/2024 9:00:00 AM, Merriam Webster defines innovation as “the introduction of something new.” Wendy Wright, DNP, ANP-BC, FNP-BC, FAANP, FAAN, FNAP views “innovation” as “seeing what doesn’t exist and developing or evolving a product or service to fill that void.” Never before has innovation in nursing been so important. In the past year, we have seen nurses innovate a system to find ways to care for COVID-19 patients when there were not enough ventilators or enough PPE to don every time there was a need to enter a patient’s room. Join us as we listen to the voice of a seasoned nurse and nurse practitioner who discusses the importance of innovation in nursing. You will be amazed by what nurses have been instrumental in innovating. It begins with you!
