Course Description
Overview
This year's conference focuses on "Closing the Equity Gap in the Pandemic Era and Beyond Through Innovation" and will bring together physicians, allied health professionals, students, and humanitarians from around the world. Conference lectures will cover topics ranging from health system recovery and inequality, cancer gaps and inequity, innovative advances in medical screening, and mental health breakthroughs in underserved populations.
Syllabus
Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:
- Assess the current status of the healthcare system post-conflict and address these inequalities;
- Creating virtual education platforms that can improve healthcare delivery across all fields of medicine and science;
- Critiquing current health screening models and universalizing access to screening;
- Assessing the challenges and burdens of providing mental health care to children in conflict areas;
- Formulating digital and innovative tools to train the next generation of medical providers.
