Course Description

Overview

This year's conference focuses on "Promoting Healthy Communities Through Medical Science, Public Health Policy, and Interventions" and will bring together physicians, allied health professionals, students, and humanitarians from around the world. Conference lectures will focus on how innovations in medicine, policy decisions and public health interventions contribute to healthy communities is key for medical providers and public health workers to improve outcomes for their patients and the communities in which they work.

Syllabus

Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  • Assess the efforts being made locally in community clinics to promote wellbeing;
  • Create emergency relief efforts in dental and specialty medicine that address the needs and challenges currently posed;
  • Critique the mental health challenges of burnout and what advances in depression therapeutics can be utilized to alleviate these stresses on practitioners to allow for better patient care;
  • Apply advances in pulmonary, orthopedic, and oncology care into practice given new groundbreaking technologies and screening tools.
