Overview
In this course, you will be introduced to TikTok, an exciting social media platform that will open up new marketing opportunities for your business.
This course focuses on TikTok basics. You will learn the history of TikTok, the key user demographics, and the app's unique features. You will gain an understanding of how users interact with the app and the benefits of adding TikTok to your social media strategy.
You will set up a personal account and learn the best strategies for creating compelling content with which other users will want to interact. You will even create your first video.
By the end of this course, you will be able to:
- Describe the key features and user demographics of TikTok
- Discuss how users interact with TikTok
- Engage with the TikTok community
- Create an engaging video with TikTok’s editing tools
Regardless of your current social media experience, this course will lay the foundation for success in using TikTok.
Syllabus
- Introduction to TikTok
- This week, you will learn about the TikTok app and discover some of the platform's unique features. You will create your own TikTok account and explore TikTok's unique features. You will also discover how TikTok uses a distinctive algorithm and how it works.
- Engaging with the TikTok Community
- This week, you will explore the TikTok app and learn more about how users interact on the platform. You will examine TikTok demographics and determine the impact TikTok has on popular culture.
