Overview
IBM Db2 on Cloud is a cloud database service created by IBM, used to manage transactional, operational, and analytical data. The database engine is fast, flexible, and secure and can be used for a variety of purposes, from real-time analytics and building cloud-native apps to machine learning and AI. As a powerful, scalable tool that can reduce costs and reporting time. Database skills, including Db2 on Cloud skills, are highly valued by employers.
Ideal for data administrators and data scientists interested in learning the fundamentals of Db2, you’ll learn to use simple SQL script files to create tables and a table structure within IBM Db2 on Cloud. You will also learn to load data using a CSV and an SQL file. Completing this project can provide you with practical Db2 experience that employers value.
As part of this hands-on project, you will be provided with a browser-accessible development environment that already has many technologies and libraries preinstalled, saving you the time and hassle of setting everything up.
