Overview
Placement Level: Eligibility for ENGL-1A as determined by the Chaffey College placement process. Advisory: Completion of ESL-475. This class introduces students to basic concepts, theoretical approaches and methods employed in Sociology. This class will examine, analyze and explain social structure, group membership and dynamics, socialization and the self, social stratification, culture and diversity, social change and globalization.
