Overview
AWS Industry Quest: Manufacturing and Automotive is an interactive game-based learning experience to help individuals and organizations develop cloud skills needed to build solutions for the manufacturing and automotive industry.
How does it work?
Players take over a virtual factory and transform it into an industry leader by completing solution building exercises to increase key performance indicators (KPIs).
Learners choose from a list of solutions common to both manufacturing and automotive industries, such as virtual prototyping with CAD tools, robotics data visualization, converting industrial protocols at the edge, and predictive maintenance using no-code tool. Learners will build solutions with guidance using the AWS Console, then apply what they have learned in a do-it-yourself challenge. Players will acquire hands-on skills that empower them to deploy similar solutions in real-life.
As the factory's KPIs grow, the industrial equipment can be upgraded and new furniture and decor is unlocked for office customization.
