This three-week crash course from INCEIF University is designed to provide a foundation in financial accounting. Combining knowledge of core concepts and applied professional skills, the course will equip you for finance careers in a variety of businesses and sectors.
Discover accounting terminology and types
After a broad introduction to financial accounting, you’ll take a closer look at its terminology and types.
You’ll learn about the difference between accrual basis and cash basis, discovering key terms and concepts including fair value, the time value of money, and the going concern principle.
Learn how to structure and analyse financial statements
In Week 3 of the course, you’ll learn how to structure, analyse, and present a financial statement.
You’ll identify the key features of financial statements, and develop the skills you need to undertake rigorous statement analysis.
You’ll finish the course with the knowledge and credentials you need to kickstart your finance career.
This introductory course is designed for anyone interested in careers in finance and financial accounting.
