Overview

Johns Hopkins University , Retina Festival 2020 - EM, 10/1/2020 7:30:00 AM - 9/30/2021 5:00:00 PM, Retina Festival 2020 is an “all-star” line-up of more than 50 faculty members from around the world participating in a Continuing Medical Education event from the Wilmer Eye Institute of the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. The program provides the latest updates from clinical trials and other evidence in the peer-reviewed medical literature that are relevant to the prevention and management of retinal diseases around the world. Topics include the latest, clinically relevant outcomes from clinical trials on age-related macular degeneration, vitreomacular interface abnormalities, hereditary retinal degenerations, diabetic retinopathy, retinal vein occlusions, and the latest in retinal surgery, including live retina surgery demonstrations. In addition to presentations from world experts, four panels of experts throughout the course will highlight discussions on applying clinical trial results to day-to-day clinical practice.

This activity is intended for comprehensive ophthalmologists, retina specialists, both expert and in training, as well as vision scientists who want an update on the latest clinically relevant topics in retina.

COURSE FORMAT – METHOD OF PARTICIPATION
This enduring material is expected to take approximately 7.75 hours to complete. Once the activity is completed, you must pass the post-test and complete the online evaluation with attestation to receive CME credit.

HARDWARE/SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS
Internet connection.

POST-TEST
A post-test will be conducted at the conclusion of the activity. A grade of at least 70% within three attempts is needed to receive CME credit.

HOW TO OBTAIN CREDIT
Post activity, an online evaluation form will be available to attendees to evaluate the activity and identify future educational needs. Upon completion of the evaluation, the learner must attest to the number of hours in attendance. A certificate of attendance will be available immediately for download or print. The last day to evaluate the material and attest to your credits is July 30, 2021.
