WiFi Stepper Motor Controller with Web-Based Interface
Offered By: DroneBot Workshop via YouTube
Course Description
Overview
Explore the capabilities of a WiFi-connected stepper motor controller in this 39-minute video tutorial. Learn how to control a NEMA 17 stepper motor using a web-based interface, with support for motors up to 85 volts at 10 amperes. Discover the device's main components, including an ESP8266 WiFi controller and powerSTEP01 stepper motor driver. Master three different control modes: speed control, servo control, and external step clock. Understand the differences between voltage and current control. Gain practical experience using the web interface to manipulate various aspects of the stepper motor's behavior. Learn how to incorporate the WiFi Stepper into programs and automation sequences using Bash or Python scripts. Follow along with a demonstration using a Bash script on a Raspberry Pi to control the motor without the web interface.
