Follow along as coarse stoneware bowls are expertly shaped, from unwrapping the damp cupboard to the final clean-up. Learn techniques for fixing undulating rims, trimming interior and exterior surfaces, and turning out foot-wells. Observe the process of working with various stoneware clay bodies and gain insights into the impact of reduction firing on the final results. Discover the tools and equipment used, including Rohde potter's wheels and kilns, while exploring the intricacies of working with groggy pink stoneware from Potclays.
