Explore an epidemiological model examining individuals' self-isolation decisions during an epidemic, presented in this 49-minute Dynamic Games and Applications Seminar talk. Delve into the unique symmetric equilibrium where uncertainty about personal infection status and epidemic dynamics can trigger additional infection waves. Discover how the model, calibrated to the COVID-19 pandemic, simulates various scenarios to illustrate uncertainty's impact on self-isolation behaviors.
