Overview
Explore the legacy of Andrei Sakharov and the ongoing importance of defending scientists' human rights in this comprehensive conference talk. Delve into Sakharov's contributions to nuclear fusion, astrophysics, and arms control, as well as his human rights advocacy. Hear from his stepdaughter, Tatiana Yankelevich, and Zafra Lerman, who worked alongside Sakharov to assist persecuted scientists in the USSR.
