Course Description
Overview
Explore real-time analytics capabilities of Microsoft Fabric in this 44-minute conference talk from SQLBits. Stream aircraft transponder data via a Raspberry PI and antenna into Microsoft Fabric through an end-to-end demonstration. Utilize Eventstream and KQL database to ingest current locations of hundreds of aircraft flying above the SQLBits venue. Display and analyze these aircraft in Power BI, and leverage KQL DB's powerful spatial functions to determine which parts of the area experience the most air traffic. Presented by James Dales, a Microsoft Data Platform MVP and Azure Data Platform and Visualisation Practice Director at Altius Consulting, this talk showcases innovative applications of Microsoft Fabric for real-time data streaming and analysis.
