Micromagnetic Simulation of Magnetic Nanowires Using OOMMF to Predict Heating Ability
Offered By: nanohubtechtalks via YouTube
Course Description
Overview
Explore micromagnetic simulation of magnetic nanowires (MNWs) using OOMMF to predict heating ability in this 45-minute webinar. Learn how to specify MNW properties, including geometry and material, and observe their effects on magnetic reversal behavior. Utilize OOMMF's graph function to analyze hysteresis loop changes and the display function to track magnetic moment motion during reversal. Calculate and compare heating abilities to determine optimal MNWs for biomedical applications such as nanowarming cryopreserved organs and cancer cell hyperthermia treatment. Follow along with a comprehensive OOMMF demo and discover how to use the MIF Generator tool on nanoHUB.
