Experience the soothing process of creating tall pottery vases in this 24-minute ASMR video. Follow along as high iron stoneware clay is transformed into elegant bud vase forms, from initial wedging and weighing to the final reduction firing. Observe techniques for throwing, trimming, glazing, and firing the vases, including both electric bisque firing and gas reduction firing. Learn about the use of crackle glazes and the firing process reaching 1290ºC over nine hours.
