Generation, Storage, and Validation of Metrologically Useful Entangled States
Offered By: Centrum Fizyki Teoretycznej PAN via YouTube
Course Description
Overview
Explore a 55-minute conference talk by Dr. Marcin Płodzień from ICFO - The Institute of Photonic Sciences on generating, storing, and validating metrologically useful many-body entangled states in analog and digital quantum simulators during the NISQ era. Delve into the challenges of fault-tolerant quantum computing and the importance of massively correlated quantum states for future quantum technologies. Examine protocols for generating and classifying metrologically useful many-body entangled and Bell correlated states using ultra-cold quantum gases in optical lattices. Investigate the potential of hybrid quantum-classical machine learning techniques for creating many-body Bell correlated states on parametrized quantum circuits in Noisy Intermediate-Scale Quantum devices. Gain insights from this Wednesday colloquium presented at the Center for Theoretical Physics of the Polish Academy of Sciences on April 12, 2023.
