Overview
Join a virtual listening session focused on the Higher Ed Climate Action Task Force's efforts to accelerate climate progress in higher education. Explore the opportunities created by federal investments, innovation, and equitable skills training for a new economy. Examine challenges and successes in preparing workers for clean energy jobs, including current programs, partnerships, employer needs, job quality, and student experiences. Discuss strategies to ensure historically underrepresented groups, particularly women and people of color, can benefit from emerging opportunities in the clean energy sector. Participate in this hour-long dialogue with diverse leaders from higher education and climate fields to contribute insights for developing an action plan with recommendations for institutions, systems, and policymakers.
