Overview
Embark on a 42-minute virtual tour through the "Florida Fossils: Evolution of Life and Land" exhibit, guided by Florida Museum youth outreach coordinator Alberto Lopez and Dr. Bruce MacFadden, curator of vertebrate paleontology and director of the University of Florida Thompson Earth Systems Institute. Journey back through geological time to explore the fossil history of Florida's horses across the Eocene, Oligocene, Miocene, Pliocene, and Pleistocene epochs. Discover how scientists use fossils to study paleoclimates in this immersive 360° experience. Gain insights into the evolution of horses and climate change, with additional K-12 resources available for further learning.
