Overview
Explore a 2-hour conference session from the 2012 AGU Fall Meeting focused on dust and black carbon in the cryosphere. Delve into eight presentations covering topics such as mitigating short-lived climate pollutants in the Arctic and Himalayas, the influence of Arctic black carbon on local climate, radiative impacts of short-lived climate forcers, black carbon and dust in snow and ice on Mount Olympus, dust deposition events in the Caucasus Mountains, 2500 years of Southwestern dustiness, hydrologic impacts of dust deposition in the Upper Colorado River Basin, and post-wildfire impacts on snow accumulation and melt.
