Climatic Controls on Net Ecosystem Exchange - Part 2
Offered By: AGU via YouTube
Course Description
Overview
Explore a comprehensive conference session from the 2012 AGU Fall Meeting focused on climatic controls of Net Ecosystem Exchange (NEE). Delve into eight presentations covering topics such as terrestrial ecosystem carbon fluxes in North America, long-term observations of landscape-scale productivity responses to climate anomalies, climate change impacts on US forest carbon sinks, signatures of climate influence on forest carbon exchange, latitudinal gradients in carbon flux controls, carbon consequences of drought, ecological impacts of climate extremes, and photoperiodic controls on ecosystem photosynthetic capacity. Gain insights from invited talks and research presentations on the complex interactions between climate and ecosystem carbon dynamics across various spatial and temporal scales.
