Illumination Engineering
Offered By: NPTEL via YouTube
Course Description
Overview
Instructor: Prof. N. K. Kishore, Department of Electrical Engineering, IIT Kharagpur.
The course begins with the radiation and color, the eye and vision obviously because most of our illumination is sensed through our eyes. And then it is followed by topics: different entities of illuminating systems; light sources; luminaries, wiring, switching and control circuits; laws of illumination; Photometry; environment and glare; general illumination design; interior and exterior lighting.
