Featuring the team behind the documentary PUSHOUT: The Criminalization of Black Girls in Schools, this panel discussion brings together experts and youth voices to examine the critical issues surrounding the criminalization of Black girls in educational settings. Hear from Dr. Monique W. Morris, Executive Producer & Writer of PUSHOUT, Denise Pines, Executive Producer, and Stephanie Patton, Principal of Columbus City Preparatory School for Girls, as they share insights and experiences. Moderated by Dr. Douglas E. Wood, Director of the Criminal Justice Reform Initiative, the conversation also includes Kiara Jean, a youth featured in the documentary.
