Cloud-Native Kubernetes Workflows on AKS with Argo
Offered By: NDC Conferences via YouTube
Course Description
Overview
Explore cloud-native Kubernetes workflows on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) using Argo in this comprehensive conference talk. Dive into the world of Kubernetes orchestration and learn how Argo, a Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) project, addresses the need for hosting workflows on Kubernetes. Discover the four sub-components of Argo: Argo Workflows, Argo CD, Argo Events, and Argo Rollouts, and understand their independent functionality. Gain insights into the advantages of Argo Workflows, including its native container design, compatibility with any Kubernetes environment, and ability to schedule workflows using YAML configurations. Through demonstrations and examples, learn to build Argo workflows in Kubernetes, configure workflow entirely using YAML, implement blue/green deployments and A/B testing, and set up event-based workflows using internal events or external services with webhooks. By the end of this talk, acquire the knowledge to leverage Argo's powerful features for efficient and scalable Kubernetes-based deployments.
