Overview
Embark on a comprehensive exploration of recent developments in the Tor network ecosystem through this 43-minute conference talk. Delve into significant technical and social changes, including exciting updates to network infrastructure, bad relay tracking methods, and general network health observations. Examine the impact of extensive Denial of Service attacks on overall network performance. Discover new technologies integrated into the network, such as a modern congestion control mechanism, the multi-path circuit feature Conflux, and a Proof-of-Work mechanism to combat Onion Services attacks. Learn about upcoming modifications to the C Tor code base and the ongoing journey towards a Rust Tor relay implementation as part of the Arti project.
