Tour of PDE Modeling in Wolfram Language: Wolfram U Class
Offered By: Wolfram U
Course Description
Overview
How to use Wolfram finite element method (FEM) capabilities for geometric modeling and mesh generation as well as the latest PDE models for specific fields of physics.
Summary
This video provides a guided tour of Wolfram finite element method (FEM) capabilities for geometric modeling and mesh generation as well as the latest PDE models for specific fields of physics. The PDE modeling framework includes predefined PDE components and boundary conditions as well as monographs about heat transfer, mass transport, acoustics, fluid and solid mechanics, electromagnetics and one-particle quantum mechanics. And with its underlying framework, it’s easy to mix these components to create multiphysics PDE models. See examples for solving PDEs using NDSolve and related functions and visualizing and post-processing of results.
Featured Products & Technologies: Wolfram Language (available in Mathematica and Wolfram|One)
You'll Learn To
Access helpful tutorial and documentation pages
Explore new and updated PDE modeling components
Follow an overview of electromagnetic modeling
Compute the von Mises stress of a deformed body
Solve problems using the Schrödinger PDE term
Work through many new application examples
