Course Description
Overview
The aim of series 1 was to be able to greet and introduce yourself, and series 2 was aimed at developing your ability to participate in small talk, to describe your body condition, and to express your opinions about a close topic. The aim of series 3 is to solve problems that happen in daily life in Japanese. We will learn Japanese expressions that are used when the relationships are getting wider and deeper in romantic, academic, or business scenes in daily life. For example, we will learn how to express your opinion or emotion such as encouragement, advice, joy, hesitation, worry, anger, refusal, apology, and so on.

Course 1: Steps in Japanese for Beginners3 Part1
Learn manners and rules needed develop personal relationships with various people and expressions necessary for natural disasters
Course 2: Steps in Japanese for Beginners3 Part2
Learn how to express emotion both publicly and privately
Course 3: Steps in Japanese for Beginners3 Part3
Learn academic expressions and interaction at companies

Andy’s Japanese classmate, Joe, says that he cannot understand of one of his specialist content classes. So, they both think of how Joe can do better in the class. In Japanese class, Andy also needs to do a poster presentation on his research project.

The new student, Leo starts working at a café, but he immediately runs into problems. Leo joins the yosakoi dance club on Andy’s suggestion. However, he finds out that an important yosakoi dance performance is on the same day as his work at the café and has to find someone to take over his shift.

A younger student has entered Andy’s dormitory. Andy feels like he wants to help the new student by teaching him what he knows about life in Japan. Unfortunately, the new student does not seem to need Andy’s help and seems to like doing things in his own way.
