Learning vim adds super powers to your editor of choice. It's a much better way for editing code and a useful tool every developer would be wise to learn

Text Selection for developersWith vim, you can select text within or around special characters like "", [], and {} marks.

Easily repeat commandsVim lets you repeat commands N number of times. (5j moves you down 5 spaces). You can also repeat previous actions. Check out the example to the right. The last line uses the dot operator to repeat the action of replacing 'id' inside parentheses with the variable 'email'.

In VIM, you can navigate with the keys hjklTry moving your cursor over the % character with those keys. Delete it by pressing x once you have highlighted it.
