Cryptocurrency. Blockchain Technology, Decentralized Payments…. Huh?!?!
To the average person, these words may as well be babble from a baby or the ramblings of a madman. But to investors who believe in these opportunities, they are everyday lingo. Welcome to the 21st century, where traditional ideas about money, valuables, and wealth have changed…. but yet still remain very much the same.
In this class, we will explain to complete novices what exactly cryptocurrency is, how it is used, why people invest in it, and how to do so yourself. We will explore the dueling perspectives on whether cryptocurrency is a viable investment option or a temporary scam waiting to implode. Additionally, we will explore how to keep crypto safe, the difference between Bitcoin and Ethereum, and what to look for when choosing a cryptocurrency to invest in. We will also address the question about whether cryptocurrency is a Ponzi scheme.
If you are new to the world of cryptocurrency and want to understand the basics of how it functions and why people have embraced it, you’ve come to the right place. By the end of the class, you’ll have a fundamental knowledge about the world of cryptocurrency so you can decide for yourself whether you believe it has any merit or not.
