Overview

In this course, you will learn how to view configuration information, monitor processes, and gather diagnostic data about the different types of elastic load balancers. You will learn how to use this information to help troubleshoot common issues and provide effective support case details if you need to escalate an issue to Amazon Web Services (AWS) Support.

In this course, you will learn to:

• Distinguish among the different load balancer types: application, network, gateway, and classic

• Recognize symptoms of common load balancer issues such as HTTP errors and health check errors

• Locate and apply available AWS Support documentation for load balancer issues

• Recognize and record relevant information to escalate load balancer issues to the AWS Support team

• SysOps administrators who manage Elastic Load Balancing (ELB) solutions


Prerequisites

We recommend that attendees of this course have:

• Basic knowledge of ELB concepts

• Experience managing specific types of load balancers
