This informative, five-week course is based on the latest research into how adults learn. It offers evidence-based methods and techniques that participants can use to ensure learning genuinely takes place and is transferred to practice. On the course, you’ll explore a diverse toolkit of proven techniques; each of which is modelled as the course progresses. The course introduces the selection and blending of methods and delivery routes to optimise the transfer of learning to practice. Improve your planning, design and delivery skills on your journey to becoming an expert trainer by understanding teaching techniques, assessment and the motivation of learners and gain practical advice on dealing with nerves and unexpected challenges when training. By the end of the course, you’ll be able to cause learning to happen by incorporating training techniques which ensure that learning lasts.
